Something guests look forward to each year, St. John’s Fish Exchange offers seasonal pop-up dining experiences for the holiday season, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. These limited-time menus and one-day features highlight fresh, locally sourced dishes and offer something a little different from the regular menu.
Lobster Season at SJFX
A true sign of spring in Newfoundland.
Each year, as the season begins, we bring in fresh, locally sourced lobster from the cold waters of Newfoundland and Labrador — including catches straight from Trinity Bay. It’s a tradition we look forward to, and one our guests return for year after year.
Good Friday Gathering
A day where cod and fish & chips take centre stage — even more than usual.
While seafood is always at the heart of our menu, Good Friday leans into it even more. We open for lunch with both dine-in and takeout available. If there’s a place to be on Good Friday, SJFX would be it.
